Amanda Oniyama was born in Dallas, Texas, and relocated to West Africa at the age of three. As the youngest of seven children, Amanda experienced a dynamic upbringing, moving frequently and attending a variety of schools. She is currently a junior at Lincoln University, pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
Amanda’s interest in business was nurtured by her family, with her father working as an accountant, two of her brothers in similar roles, and her mother, who studied Business Management and runs her own business. Additionally, Amanda’s sister is involved in the network marketing industry. Encouraged by this strong familial foundation, Amanda began her professional journey at the age of 18. In 2020, she worked as a makeup artist in her mother’s salon in Monrovia, Liberia. Later that year, she took on a role as a junior supervisor at Oragon Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.
In pursuit of her academic and career goals, Amanda moved to Missouri to attend Lincoln University. While at the university, she gained valuable experience working in various departments, including the International Office and the IT Department. She also expanded her professional experience by working in a coffee shop, a retail store, and later as an Assistant Manager at the Shops at Sharp End.
Amanda has always been passionate about connecting with people through customer service, and she continues to develop her expertise in this area. Her diverse work experience and strong family influences have shaped her dedication to pursuing a successful career in business.
